Belfast Hotel and Transport Information

Our Venue - The Wellington Park Hotel

Our venue for TitanCon 2018 is once again the Wellington Park Hotel (marked with the orange/purple W shaped logo on the map below). The Wellie, as it is affectionately known, is a 4 star hotel which has been a family owned and managed business and part of the fabric of Belfast since the 1950's.

Staying in the main convention hotel can massively improve your experience of the event. The practicality of being able to return to your room quickly and easily at any time is a huge difference maker and with enough people staying here the entire hotel becomes infused with the unique atmosphere of TitanCon, making the whole experience more enjoyable for everyone.

We are pleased to announce the following special room rates for TitanCon 2018 members. These rates are valid from Wednesday 22 August until Tuesday 28 August (subject of course to our room block not being full).

In addition to this room rate offer, all TitanCon 2018 members will benefit from FREE Wi-Fi access and a special car parking rate of just £5 per day.

Please note that the Wellington Park Hotel charges a security deposit on arrival which is refunded on checkout.

Booking a Room at the Wellington Park

We have reserved an initial block of 30 rooms at these rates, to be allocated first-come, first-served to members. If you would like to stay at the Wellington Park, please contact the hotel, quoting our group booking code TITA041217. The hotel's direct phone number is +44 289 038 1111.

Other Accommodation Options

Belfast features a wide range of hotels and other accommodation options. Locations, reviews and prices can be researched through all the usual travel websites. We have also provided links to a selection of properties below for your convenience.

Belfast also has a good selection of private rooms, flats and other properties available via AirBnB. Rates typically start from under £50 a night for whole flats - and can be lower for private rooms in shared houses.

Please do note that Belfast has become a more popular summer destination for tourists in recent years - not least due to Game of Thrones and other TV and film productions. We therefore recommend that you book your accommodation in good time - wherever you plan to stay!

The Europa Bus Station is Belfast's main bus depot and offers bus services across the city, to the airports and to Dublin. Visit the Translink website for more details.

The Translink website also details Northern Ireland's rail services.
